Art history essay
how to start my essay and ideas????
Has Surrealism been expressed in further art forms and styles prior to its own movement?
From Da-Vinci and Michaelangelo to Vermeer and Jacques-Louis David and finishing with Andre Breton and Salvidor Dali. We search through the history of art and give them labels of when the movements actually started but have anyone ever thought about Surrealism always being in the art of history from the Renaissance (14th - 17th century) To the Baroque (16th-1750 century.) or even from the Neo classics to the Rococo era till now.
The idea of Surrealism art is the interpretation of dreams and the use of the 'Sub-conscious" mind. The old history of art has been so controlled with a touch of a brush stroke but how has the interpretation of the visual idea came to be? With dreams? or with the idea of movement?
This essay will diverge into the idea of Surrealism being expressed through-out different art movement's and eras prior to its own. To find out how the masters of art came to be and what is evolving from it.

Comparing this painting from the romanticism era "Sweet embrace" - by Francesco Hayez with this Surrealism piece "The Lovers II" By Rene Magritte you can see the similarities with each other to create a romanticized picture. They are both locked in embrace kissing one another which it swallows the audience to watch and forged their embrace.
